Everything that happens after the result.
FinCalc gives marketing and lending teams at banks and credit unions one console for branded calculators, the next steps members see, and every lead that follows, from first click to funded loan.
| Team | What they do |
|---|---|
| Marketing | Brand, place, and test calculators |
| Lending | Receive leads and confirm appointment requests |
| Compliance | Approve wording and disclosures before they publish |
| Leadership | See which calculators produce funded loans |
Set up in your brand, on your schedule.
Your team configures calculators in the console and publishes them without a development project.
Branding and layout
Apply your colors and fonts, reorder or hide fields, and change wording so each calculator matches your site and products.
Your disclosures
Add your own disclaimers for each language. They sit on top of calculator and FinCalc defaults, so nothing required gets lost.
English and Spanish
Translations are drafted with AI assistance and go live only after a person reviews them. Other languages are available on request.
Publish review
Changes wait for approval before they go live. Published versions can’t be edited, so what compliance approved is exactly what members see.
Copy, paste, publish
Copy an embed code from the console onto any page. Use your own domain, and add the optional script that sizes the calculator to fit.
Rates kept current
Update rates in the console, or send them automatically from your systems through our API.
Results members can keep
Visitors can download a PDF of their results or have them emailed.
Accessible by default
Calculators are designed to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. About accessibility
A next step that fits the answer.
A member comparing refinance options needs a different button than one pricing a first home.
- Conditional buttons
Show apply, talk to someone, or visit a product page based on what the visitor entered.
- Prefilled forms
Links can carry the visitor’s values into your own application or product pages, so they don’t retype them.
- Click reporting by placement
See which buttons get clicked on which pages.
- Test placements
Preview unpublished changes on a private placement before members see them.
No winner yet. More visitors are needed before this difference is meaningful.
Ask at the right moment, and prove consent.
Leads are captured inside the calculator, when the visitor is most engaged.
- Timing you choose
Ask before or after results, set separately for each placement.
- Consent for each channel
Consent is recorded separately for each contact channel, with the exact disclosure the visitor saw.
- Tests that don’t jump to conclusions
Run experiments on when and how to ask. The readout won’t declare a winner until the results are statistically meaningful.
The right officer, quickly.
Leads go straight to a named person, with the context they need to make the first call count.
- Routing rules
Assign leads by calculator, placement, or ZIP code prefix, to one officer or round-robin across a team.
- Email alerts
The assigned officer is notified by email as soon as a lead arrives.
- Scores with reasons
Each lead is marked High or Medium with the reasons stated, based only on the visitor’s intent. How scoring works
- Appointment requests
After sharing contact details, visitors pick a time from the officer’s weekly hours. The officer confirms the request.
- Time to first touch
See how quickly each lead was contacted.
Contact details shared, with email and phone consent
Routed to Marcus Lee by round-robin, auto lending team
Appointment requested for Friday at 9:30 AM
Officer confirmed the request. First touch in 27 minutes
Scored High: compared three loan terms and asked to talk to someone.
Know which calculators earn their place.
Most calculator tools report visits. FinCalc connects placements to the loans they produce.
- Closed-loop attribution
Report back which leads became applications, meetings, or funded loans, through a signed API or a CSV upload.
- Leads in one place
Review every lead with its score, officer, and status, and export to CSV.
- Decisions with evidence
Move budget and page space toward the calculators and placements that actually fund loans.
| Placement | Leads | Applied | Funded |

Where calculators work hardest.
A starting point for placing calculators. Your own attribution results will refine it.
| Page on your site | Calculator | Next step to offer |
|---|---|---|
| Mortgage products | Mortgage payment, home affordability | Get pre-qualified, or talk to a loan officer |
| Refinancing | Refinance savings | Talk to a loan officer |
| Auto loans | Auto loan payment | Apply, prefilled with amount and term |
| Personal loans and cards | Debt consolidation | See personal loan rates |
| Savings and certificates | Savings goal, certificate earnings | Open an account |
| Retirement and wealth | Retirement savings | Request a time with an advisor |
What to ask any calculator vendor.
Most calculator tools look alike in a demo. These questions separate them. Ask us too.
| Ask | Why it matters | FinCalc |
|---|---|---|
| Where does the math come from, and how is it verified? | A wrong payment figure is a compliance problem, not a bug report. | Built from analyst workbooks and tested against 30 years of production results |
| What happens after the result? | A generic Apply button wastes the moment a member is most engaged. | Next steps that change with the visitor’s answers, and prefilled links into your forms |
| Can a lead reach a named person, and can the customer pick a time? | Speed to first contact decides who wins the business. | Routing by calculator, page, or ZIP code to an officer, agent, or advisor, plus appointment requests and time to first touch |
| Can you prove consent for each channel? | Examiners ask what the member agreed to, and when. | Consent recorded per channel with the exact disclosure shown, and withdrawal across all channels |
| Does the tool report funded loans, or only clicks? | Views and conversions don’t tell you what the website is worth. | Closed-loop attribution of funded loans, issued policies, or new accounts, by API or file upload |
| What does the calculator load from third parties? | Anything it loads runs on your page, under your domain. | No third-party requests by default, with a published list of every connection |
| What goes into lead scoring? | Loan size or ZIP code in a score is a fair lending question. | Intent signals only; loan size, ZIP code, and referring page are excluded by design |
| Who approves wording before it goes live? | Compliance needs to know what members actually see. | Publish review, and published versions can’t be edited afterward |

Questions from marketing and lending teams.
Does appointment scheduling connect to our officers’ calendars?
Not directly. Visitors request a time from the weekly hours each officer sets, and the officer confirms it. Nothing is booked until the officer confirms.
Can we use different next steps on different pages?
Yes. Next steps, lead capture timing, and routing are all set per placement, so the same calculator can behave differently on your home page and your auto loans page.
How do we report which leads funded?
Send outcomes from your systems through a signed API, or upload a CSV. FinCalc matches them to the original leads and placements.
Can we preview changes before members see them?
Yes. Test placements show unpublished changes privately, and nothing goes live until it passes publish review.
Calculators load in an iframe. Does that hurt our site?
It’s a fair question, and the trade-off is deliberate. An iframe is what keeps calculator code out of your page, so nothing we run can interfere with your site and no third-party requests come from it, which is what your security reviewers care about. The optional resize script keeps the calculator sized to its content, so there’s no inner scrollbar. Calculators are designed to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA inside the frame, including keyboard and screen reader use. For search, the page around the calculator is yours: your headings, your copy, and your links are what search engines index, and calculators are there to convert the visitor who already arrived.
What if our CRM isn’t listed?
Signed webhooks can send lead and consent events to almost any system. Tell us what you use when you book a preview.
Which languages are available?
English and Spanish at launch, with every translation reviewed by a person before it goes live. Other languages are available on request.
