Accessibility.
Financial decisions shouldn’t depend on how someone uses the web. FinCalc’s website and calculators are designed so everyone can use them.

Our standard.
We design fincalc.com and FinCalc calculators to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
- Keyboard access
Every control can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Screen reader support
Fields, results, errors, and status changes are labeled and announced.
- Readable by design
Text and interface colors meet contrast requirements, and pages work when text is enlarged or the screen is narrow.
- Reduced motion
Animation is minimal and turns off when your device asks for reduced motion.
How we keep it that way.
Testing as we build
We check pages and calculators with automated tools and test them manually with keyboards and screen readers before release.
Independent audit
An independent accessibility audit supports our Accessibility Conformance Report, which institutions can request.
Accessible branding
When institutions brand their calculators, color choices are checked against contrast requirements before publishing.
Reviewed translations
Spanish and other language versions are reviewed by people, including their labels and error messages.
For financial institutions.
Calculators are one part of your website. We provide documentation to support your own accessibility program.
- Accessibility Conformance Report
A VPAT-based report describing how FinCalc calculators meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- Configuration guidance
Guidance on keeping wording, disclosures, and next-step buttons accessible as you customize them.
